My husband took all of us to http://www.mollywoos.com/ it was fantastic!
I started off with a Sake' sampler, the only thing is Baby M thought the one glass was milk and grabbed at it and shattered the whole display. We then had sushi, lettuce wraps, and I enjoyed a vegetarian eggplant dish, while M had Sesame Chicken, G had Cashew Chicken, and J had Pineapple Chicken. It was fantastic!
My Mom and Dad took me and the whole family out to breakfast at http://www.firstwatch.com/ . It was so delicious. I got the Crepe Eggs which are my favorite. The avocado on it just hits the spot.
My Grandfather Turned 91 August 21st. I feel so blessed to have him. We celebrated by bringing him Noodles and Company http://www.noodles.com/ We got what is called a trio. For about $7.25 you can enjoy your choice of pasta, soup or salad and a protein. We got him the Parmesan Crusted Chicken over the Wisconsin Mac N Cheese with the Tomato Bisque Soup, and for dessert we brought him a Rice Crispy Treat that was a huge wedge of deliciousness.
My older kiddos have had the past coupld of days off of school. On Wednesday evening, G exclaimed at 7:45pm at night that she had homework and a lot of it. I needed to get Baby M off to bed and help G with her homework, plus I wanted to play a game with J. So I elected the Daddy to put Baby M to bed which is never easy on Baby M, myself, or the Daddy. I helped G get all of her homework done and still had some time to play a quick game with J & G. Everyone then got ready for bed and I told J & G to meet in my bed for story time. They both asked if the Daddy had ever exited Baby M's room and I sat puzzled for a moment. I told them I really wasn't sure. We said our prayers and I began to read a story when all of a sudden over the baby monitor I heard a growling, snuffling, loud snoring sound. G asked, "What in the world is that noise?" I listened more closely and discovered the Daddy had fallen asleep while putting Baby M to bed. Hilarious to hear him snoring so loudly over the baby monitor.
My Very, Talented Sister in Law is a professional Photographer and she was sooooo patient with us, she even pretended to talk on Baby M's Play Phone to try and capture the shot. We attempted to get a good family pic of all of us at my cousins wedding and it was a no go. So we took 2, then 3, then what felt like 300.... God Bless You Auntie Leigh...
These picture were Take 1, and Take 2.(no one knew which camera to look at.) Then came....
okay time for a break, switch backgrounds...
okay, let's try this again...
And finally we decided on this last one. I wish Baby M had smiled, but was just happy to have a family picture. Yay!
I have toyed with the idea of meal planning and prepping. I've recorded the FoodTv shows that show you how to prep your meals and had good results when I'm consistent. G is starting Basketball and our schedule is about to become more hectic than it already is. Wednesdays are always crazy because it is a transition night for J and G coming home from their Dad's house. We always allow time for venting and bed time is not written in hard stone. So I thought what I would do is list our meals for the Month. Although I am blogging it today, I will edit it each day.
